CEEPUS scholarships

Application and selection

The application deadline for network mobilities in winter semester is June 15th each year, while the application deadline for summer semester is October 31st each year.

Apart from these two deadlines, there is a special application for freemover applications –November 30th each year.

Applications are made electronically via http://www.ceepus.info website – each applicant must first register a free CEEPUS account.

Every network application is first approved by local contact person at home institution, after which national CEEPUS office in applicant’s home country checks the application and nominates it, i.e. sends it to the host institution. After the contact person at the host institution approves the application it is sent to the national CEEPUS office in the host country which awards the scholarship (after the final check of the application and in accordance with the available scholarship quotas and/or accommodation capacities) and informs the applicant.

There are three types of student mobility in CEEPUS:

student – for students who have completed at least 2 semesters at home institution. The minimum stay is three months.

short-term student – for students working on their thesis (stays shorter than three months).

short-term excursion – for participants of short group mobilities (summer schools – up to six days)

Teaching staff always applies in the teacher category. The minimum length of teaching mobility is five working days (exceptionally three days for summer schools) and the scholar is requested to have six teaching hours per working week.
