General information and types of projects
The Erasmus+ Programme differentiates between Programme and Partner Countries as regards possible modalities of participation of their organisations/institutions. Programme Countries are EU countries, Macedonia, Iceland, Lichtenstein, Norway and Turkey. Since 2019 the Republic of Serbia became fully-fledged Erasmus+ Programme country, which enables full participation for organisations/institutions and individuals in all actions and types of projects. Partner Countries can be those neighbouring the EU, as well as all other countries in the world.
Erasmus+ programme supports mobility projects for the organizations active in the field of education, aiming: professional development of staff; foreign language skills improvement; raise of awareness and understanding of other cultures and countries; increase of the institutions and organizations active in the field of education capacity, as well as strengthening links between the formal and informal education, vocational training, employment and entrepreneurship.
Schools, pre-school institutions, organizations active in vocational education and training, and adult education organizations, can apply for Key Action 1 – Learning mobility of individuals. Call for proposal was announced in October 2018, and the deadline for application submission is February 5th, 2019.

Strategic partnership projects support development, exchange and implementation of innovative practices and initiatives which promote cooperation, mutual learning and exchange of experience at European level. Secondary vocational schools and organizations active in the field of vocational education and training, can apply for Key Action 2 – strategic partnerships in the field of vocational education and training. General call for proposals has been announced in October 2018, and the deadline for application submission is March 21st, 2019.
