Centralized projects

All project proposals which are submitted to the Education, Audiovisual and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA) in Brussels are considered centralized.

 

KA2 Capacity Building in the field of Higher Education

Projects for Capacity Building in the field of higher education (CBHE) offer important possibilities for cooperation between high education and other institutions from partner and programme countries. Since the beginning of the Erasmus+ programme, higher education institutions from Serbia have participated in 45 projects both as coordinators and as partners ( 2015 – 9, 2016 – 9, 2017-8, 2018-12, and 2019-7 projects).

 

KA2 Knowledge Alliances

Knowledge Alliances are two-year or three-year transnational projects that are implemented in cooperation between higher education institutions and enterprises in all disciplines and sectors. Higher education institutions from Serbia are participating as partners in three Knowledge allianaces project.

KA2 Capacity building in the field of Youth

Capacity-building projects in the field of youth cover a range of activities that encourage cooperation between organisations active in youth, education, training and other socio-economic sectors in Programme and Partner Countries from different regions of the world. From the beginning of Erasmus+ programme, organizations and institutions who are working with youth in Serbia, have been able to participate in the KA2 capacity building projects both as coordinators and as partners.

So far, organizations from Serbia have participated in 107 projects of capacity building as coordinators and as partners.

Since 2019. the Republic of Serbia received the status of a Programme country the organisation from Serbia could no longer apply for projects within Western Balkans Youth Window as coordinators, but could apply for Capacity Building in the Field of Youth for cooperation with countries from regions 5 to 13 (ACPALA countries – African, Caribbean and Pacific, Asian and Latin American). So far, organizations from Serbia are coordinators in seven projects.

Organizations from Serbia can still participate within the Western Balkans Youth Window as partners and so far they have participated in 12 projects.

Jean Monnet

Jean Monnet Projects support innovation, cross-fertilisation and the spread of European Union content. Jean Monnet is the only part of the Erasmus + program in which it is possible to have unilateral projects, or projects that take place in only one institution or organization. Since the start of Erasmus+ programme, higher education institutions from Serbia have participated in 19 Jean Monnet projects.

 

Erasmus Mundus joint master degree (EMJMD)

Erasmus Mundus joint master degrees is international study programme, jointly delivered by an international consortium of higher education institutions. EMJMDs award EU-funded scholarships to the best student candidates applying under annual selection rounds. Study must take place in at least two of the Programme countries. Part of the studies can also take place in a Partner countries if there is a partner-country institution involved.

 

Institutions from Serbia are participating in three Erasmus Mundus joint master degrees, as partners:

European Master in Migration and Intercultural Relations – University in Novi Sad

”EMJMD Architecture, Landscape and Archaeology”, University in Belgrade

”PlantHealth – European Master Degree in PLANT HEALTH IN SUSTAINABLE CROPPING SYSTEMS”, Institute for Plant Protection and Environment.

 

 

Sport

The Sport Chapter in the Erasmus+ Programme aims to support European partnerships on grassroots sport in order to pursue the following objectives:

Tackle cross-border threats to the integrity of sport, such as doping, match fixing and violence, as well as all kinds of intolerance and discrimination;

To promote and support good governance in sport and dual careers of athletes;

To promote voluntary activities in sport, together with social inclusion, equal opportunities and awareness of the importance of health-enhancing physical activity, through increased participation in, and equal access to sport for all.

Focus is to be given to grassroots sport.

Since the beginning of Erasmus+ programme, organizations from Serbia have participated in 16 projects.

Since 2019 General Call, organizations from Serbia can participate in all parts of the Erasmus+ programme, including sport. Organizations from Serbia are coordinators in two Collaborative partnerships and six Small collaborative partnerships.
