Strategic Partnerships aim to support the development, transfer and/or implementation of innovative practices as well as the implementation of initiatives promoting cooperation, peer learning and exchanges of experience at European level.
Organistations from Serbia can be coordinators or partners in strategic partnership projects supporting innovation or exchange of good practices.
A participating organisation can be any public or private organisation, established in a Programme Country or in any Partner Country of the world, such as: higher education institutions, schools/institutes/educational centres, non-profit organisations, associations, NGOs, small, medium or large enterprises, public bodies at local, regional or national level, research institutes, foundations, etc. which are active in the field of higher education.
The application can be submitted by an institution or organisation from Serbia to the Foundation Tempus, or by an institution from other Programme Country to its national agency.
Type of activities
Activities in the field of higher education may be related to the development, testing, adaptation and implementation of innovative practices that could relate to: joint study programs, development of pedagogical approaches and methodologies, career counseling, cooperation between higher education institutions and local/regional authorities and other stakeholders based on the promotion of regional development and cross-sectoral cooperation, cooperation and exchange of experiences between individuals involved in support services such as career guidance, the development of a system that helps in monitoring of student progress, etc.
Public or private organisations from Programme and Partner Countries can participate in strategic partnership projects. These organisations may be higher education institutions, non-profit organisations, public or private companies, public institutions at the local, regional and national levels, and others. Strategic partnership is transnational and involves minimum three organisations from three different Programme Countries.
Organizations from Serbia can participate as project coordinators, as well as partners. Organisations from Partner Countries can be involved in a strategic partnership, as partners (not as applicants), if their participation brings an essential added value to the project.
Eligible costs are costs of project management and implementation, transnational project meetings, learning/teaching/training activities, multiplier events, travel costs, individual support, language support, etc. Projects can last from two to three years. Grant is defined by multiplying 12 500 EUR by the duration of the project (in months) and up to 450 000 EUR for projects with duration of 36 months.
The application is submitted to the National Agency of the Programme Country where the applicant is located. Coordinators from Serbia submit project applications to the Foundation Tempus.
