Not-for-profit European Sport Events

Within the framework of the projects of Not-for-profit European Sport Events, support can be given to sport events of the European scope. Such can be a either a single event organized in one of the Erasmus+ program countries, or several simultaneously organized sporting events in different program countries. In each case event(s) must involve participants from at least 10 program countries. The expected outcomes of these projects are the increased awareness of the role of sports in the promotion of social inclusion, equal opportunities and physical activities that improve health, as well as increased participation in sports, physical activities and volunteer sport activities. Within this project type, support can also be given to events which are implemented under the European Week of Sport, the European Commission’s initiative which is being implemented since 2017, during the last week of September.
