Europe Goes Local: Using Erasmus+ KA153 Mobility Projects to Strengthen Local Youth Work training will be held from 8 to 10 December 2026 in Belgrade.
The training is intended for youth workers, trainers, project managers and representatives of local authorities, youth organisations, youth councils and youth offices who wish to develop or improve youth worker mobility projects within the Erasmus+ programme.
The particular value of the training lies in connecting youth worker mobility projects with the real needs of local communities.
Participants will have the opportunity to:
- learn how to develop a quality youth worker mobility project application;
- explore how youth worker mobility can respond to specific challenges in their local communities;
- exchange experiences with colleagues from different municipalities and organisations;
- learn about examples of good practice and practical experiences in implementing projects;
- develop their own project ideas;
- meet potential partners for future European cooperation.
Participants from rural, remote and hard-to-reach areas are particularly welcome, as are representatives of organisations and institutions with less experience in European cooperation.
The training is part of the Europe Goes Local initiative, which supports the development of quality youth work at the local level and strengthens cooperation between local actors across Europe.

Accommodation and meals during the activity are provided by the National Agency of Serbia. Selected participants will take part in a short preparatory online webinar on youth worker mobility projects before the training.

You do not need to have a ready-made project application – an interest in developing youth work, an idea you would like to develop, and a desire to connect your local community with European partners are sufficient.
