European Education and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA) has announced a call for applications for awards for projects in the field of sports #BeInclusive 2021, which is intended for projects of organizations from all Erasmus+ programme countries that have supported the social inclusion of groups with disabilities through sports.
The call is open until October 21st at 5 pm.
With a total prize fund of EUR15,000 for first, second and third placed winners in each category, the winner and finalists are chosen to inspire other organisations and individuals around Europe.
These are the three competing categories:
- #BeInclusive – Breaking Barriers. This category is to reward projects that demonstrate resilience, with examples of overcoming obstacles to participation;
- #BeInclusive – Celebrating diversity. For sporting projects that demonstrate tolerance, with positive examples of different people, groups and collaborations which emphasise the benefits of understanding each other;
- #BeInclusive – Inspiring change. This prize category recognises projects that provide inspiration, telling positive stories of empowerment, with exemplary role models from disadvantaged groups who step up to lead change.
More about the #BeInclusive EU Sport Awards initiative is available on the European Commission’s website, while detailed information on this year’s call can be found on the EU’s Funding and tender opportunities portal, through which applications are submitted.
