The seventh webinar in the series of thematic webinars organized by the Profformance+ project consortium will be dedicated to sustainability in higher education and how it can be integrated into teaching and learning. The webinar will be held online on 8 October 2024, from 14:00 to 16:00 CET, hosted by the Foundation Tempus.
Experts will present examples of good practice in higher education related to sustainability, one of the thematic areas within the Profformance assessment tool. The event will showcase projects that are part of the Profformance+ teaching excellence database and have been implemented at higher education institutions in partner countries.
The event is intended for lecturers and university administrations, as well as researchers, decision-makers, and other stakeholders in the field of higher education. You can register to participate no later than noon on 8 October by completing the registration form.
A new call for the Profformance Teaching Excellence Award in higher education will be presented at the webinar. The call will be open during the autumn academic year of 2024/2025 as part of the Profformance+ project. A special part of the webinar will be dedicated to answering participants’ questions about the new call, time permitting.
The webinar will be held in English. More information about the event and topics can be found on the Profformance+ project website, where the agenda is also available.
This webinar is the seventh in a series of thematic webinars based on the Profformance teaching excellence database. The database contains around 130 good methodological practices in higher education prepared by teachers and expert communities from six different countries, on the occasion of the Profformance teaching excellence award in the field of higher education for the academic year 2021/2022.
The Profformance+ project is implemented by a consortium consisting of relevant ministries from Hungary, the Czech Republic, Austria, and Croatia, as well as the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Serbia and the Foundation Tempus. The project aims to support the improvement of the quality of teaching and learning at higher education institutions in the European Higher Education Area by developing and promoting a tool for assessing the work of teachers by employing a system of incentives, while collecting and sharing examples of good practices.
